Background

DataBytes AI is built on hands on experience designing and operating modern data platforms, from database and identity architecture through to analytics, workflow automation and applied AI tooling. The focus throughout is practical: systems that solve a real, specific problem for the organisation running them, built on open, well understood foundations rather than proprietary black boxes.

There is a particular focus on organisations working in community, public interest and not for profit contexts, and especially Aboriginal community controlled organisations, First Nations corporations and other Indigenous organisations, where the case for owning your own data and technology outright, rather than renting access to it indefinitely, is often strongest.

Capacity building sits at the centre of how DataBytes AI works. Every engagement is designed so your own staff end up understanding and confidently operating what has been built, not just receiving a finished system to click around in.
