What this involves
We review how information currently moves through your organisation: spreadsheets, shared drives, paper forms, ageing databases, and design a structure that consolidates it without forcing an unnecessary rebuild of everything at once.
The technical backbone is a modern, open source database (PostgreSQL, with spatial and semantic search extensions built in from day one) paired with a no code data management layer, so non technical staff can view and edit records without needing a developer for every change.
Access control, audit trails and data classification are set up properly from the start, so sensitive records are protected and you can demonstrate good governance to a board, funder or regulator.
Because the whole system runs on infrastructure your organisation owns, this is also the foundation for genuine data sovereignty.
